Use advanced FBA settings to map shipping speed based on the rate the customer selects at Shopify checkout.
Amazon FBA supports three speeds: Standard, Expedited, and Priority. By default, Connectr uses the Default Shipping Speed from Connectr FBA settings.
Override default speed with Shopify shipping rates
- Create shipping rates in Shopify. See Shopify's guide to setting up shipping rates.
- Example: Create three rates named Budget Delivery, Optimized Speed, and Fast Shipping, then map them as follows:
- Budget Delivery → Standard
- Optimized Speed → Expedited
- Fast Shipping → Priority
- On the FBA Settings page, click Advanced Settings and enter keywords for each FBA speed. Keywords must appear in the Shopify shipping rate name.
Example: If the customer selects a rate containing the keyword Budget, the order ships via Standard FBA speed. Optimized Speed maps to Expedited, and Fast Shipping maps to Priority.
You can map more than two Shopify rates to the same FBA speed by using a shared keyword in the rate names.
