If your theme doesn't support Online Store 2.0 App Blocks, or you prefer to manually control highlight placement, you can add the Prime highlight snippet directly to your theme code.
This guide uses Shopify's Dawn theme as an example, but the same approach can be applied to most themes.
Step 1: Open the Theme Code Editor
- Log in to your Shopify Admin.
- Go to Online Store → Themes.
- On your active theme, click ⋯ (More actions) → Edit code.
Step 2: Open the Product Template
In the Sections folder, open:
Step 3: Add the Prime Highlight Code
Paste the following code where you want the highlights to appear.
{% render 'primeh', hideAssets:'0', product: product, primehOuterClass: 'prime-mt-4 prime-mb-4' %}
You can place the integration code anywhere depending on your requirements.
Step 4: Save Your Changes
Click Save after updating each file.
Visit your storefront to verify that the highlights appear in the desired location.
