The smart icons app allows displaying inventory levels at a specific location.
Example:
The location-level inventory can be displayed by adding the {{InventoryAt}} dynamic data field in the Highlight text. While adding this data field, you have to specify the location.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Open Smart App
- From Shopify admin, click Apps.
- Open Smart App.
Step 2: Configure Location-level Inventory
- If you select more than 1 location, then the sum of the inventory of the selected locations will be displayed.
- Location-based Inventory needs to be activated on the settings page for the app to detect and calculate inventories location-wise.
- When you activate the switch, the app can take between 5 minutes and a few hours to read the inventory levels for the first time. Later, any changes to the inventory levels will be picked up in a maximum of 10 minutes.
- If for any product, the inventory levels are showing incorrectly in the highlighted text, then you can search for the product and click Sync as shown below:
Step 3: Save and Publish
- Review the preview panel.
- Click Save & Publish.
The app also allows adding display rules based on location-level inventory as shown below.
Important Notes
{{ InventoryAt }} dynamic data field is available for Gold Plan users only.
If the account is downgraded after adding highlights with location-level inventory, then those highlights will stop showing updated inventory levels.
