Before You Begin
- Configure your markup settings in the Spreadr dashboard first.
- Note that updating prices on existing products requires the Auto-sync feature to be enabled for your store.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Method 1: Update Products Individually
Use this method if you only want to apply markup rules to specific items in your catalog.
1. Open the Spreadr Dashboard and search for the product you want to update.
2. In the product list row under the Actions column, click the Auto-sync icon (resembles a gear/sync symbol).
3. In the settings pop-up, check the box labelled Update prices as per the Markup Pricing Rules, and click Save.
4. Repeat these steps for any other products you wish to mark up.
Method 2: Apply Markup to All Products Globally
Use this method to apply markup rules to your entire catalog of previously imported products all at once.
- Go to the Spreadr app in your Shopify admin.
- Navigate to Settings → Auto-sync.
- Make sure Auto-sync is activated.
- Under Auto-sync rules, locate Product price changes.
- Select Update price on Shopify as per Markup Pricing Rules.
- Check the checkbox for Apply auto-sync settings to existing products as well.
- Click Save to apply the settings.
The markup pricing rules will be applied to your existing products during the next auto-sync cycle.
Expected Result
- Method 1 (Individual): The selected product's price will be updated to include the markup on the next sync cycle.
- Method 2 (Global): Spreadr will mark up your entire list of imported products as per your configured pricing rules.
- Sync Frequency: These markups will be updated automatically during the daily Auto-sync run (executed once every 24 hours).
Important Notes
- Ensure your Auto-sync feature is active. If Auto-sync is paused, existing product prices will not update to reflect the markup rules.
