The Spreadr app is migrating from the legacy Product Advertising API (PA-API) to Amazon's new Creators API endpoint. The old API service is scheduled for deprecation by Amazon.
Action Required: Update Credentials
To maintain seamless product sync limits and updates, you must generate a new set of Creators API keys (Credential IDs and Credential Secret Key) from your Amazon Associates portal:
- Log in to your Amazon Associates Central dashboard.
- Navigate to Tools > Creators API.
- Generate new keys and copy the credentials. For a detailed guide, refer to our Creators API Connection Guide.
Critical Notes
- API Throttling: If your account is not linked to the Creators API, the app fallback limit will switch to a lower default rate limit.
- Existing Products: Already imported products are unaffected and will continue updating normally without requiring re-imports.
