Because price changes or stock fluctuations can occur on Amazon in the interim, mismatches can occasionally persist until the next scheduled daily sync. Real-Time Syncing at Add-to-Cart
To address this, Spreadr features Super-Sync. Super-Sync triggers a real-time price and availability query the instant a visitor adds a product to their Shopify shopping cart.
Spreadr monitors active cart additions, queries the live Amazon catalog page, and updates the Shopify product record. This background update completes within 3 to 7 seconds. As a result, shoppers see the correct, verified price and stock status in their cart before finalizing checkout and submitting payment.
Operational Notes & Considerations
- Checkout Speed: In cases where a user checks out extremely fast (within 3–10 seconds of cart addition), they may occasionally load checkout details before the Super-Sync update finishes.
- Pricing: Enabling Super-Sync adds an additional charge of $25/month to your current active subscription plan.
