📋 Step-by-Step Process

1️⃣ Install & Configure the App

Install Watchlyst – Price Alerts on your Shopify store and configure the app settings to display the Watch Price button on your product pages.

Note: If you've already installed and configured the app, you can skip this step.

2️⃣ Customers Subscribe to Price Alerts

When customers visit a product page, they'll see the Watch Price button. By clicking it, they can enter:

• 📧 Their email address
• 💰 Their desired price for the product

The app securely stores this information and creates a price alert for that product.

3️⃣ Automatic Price Monitoring

Watchlyst continuously monitors the product's price at the interval configured in the app settings.

4️⃣ Price Drop Notification

As soon as the product price reaches or falls below the customer's target price, Watchlyst automatically sends a personalised email notification.

The email includes:

• 🛍️ Product details
• 💲 Updated product price
• 🔗 A direct link back to the product page

5️⃣ Customer Returns to Purchase

The customer clicks the link in the email, returns to your Shopify store, and can complete their purchase at the new price.

📌 Important Notes

• ⏱️ Customisable Monitoring Interval
  The price monitoring frequency is fully configurable. You can choose how often Watchlyst checks for product price changes based on your store's requirements.
• 📧 One-Time Notification per Alert
  Once a customer receives a price drop notification for a subscribed product, that specific alert is automatically marked as completed. No additional emails will be sent for the same subscription unless the customer creates a new alert.
• 📅 Automatic Alert Expiry
  Price alerts automatically expire three months after the customer subscribes, helping keep your alert list up to date and relevant.
