Choose How Products Are Imported

When importing products, you can choose how the app handles products that may already exist in your store.

Select the option that best matches your import requirements.

Option 1: Always Add New Products

Choose this option if you want every product in your CSV to be imported as a new product.

How It Works

• Every product in the CSV is created as a new product.
• The app does not check whether a product with the same SKU already exists.
• If duplicate SKUs are present, duplicate products may be created.

Best For
Importing a completely new product catalog or when creating duplicate products is intentional.

Option 2: Add or Update Products by SKU

Choose this option if you want the app to identify products using their SKU.

How It Works

• The app searches your store for a product with the same SKU.
• If a matching SKU is found, the existing product is updated with the latest information from the CSV.
• If no matching SKU is found, a new product is created automatically.

Best For
Keeping your product catalog up to date while avoiding duplicate products.

To ensure accurate product updates, make sure each product has a unique SKU before using the Add or Update Products by SKU option.
