Shipr supports two ways to send shipping notifications for FBA orders.
Option 1: Shopify Emails (Recommended)
By default, Shopify sends shipping and tracking emails to your customers.
When Shipr updates the fulfillment and tracking information in Shopify, Shopify automatically sends your store's standard notification emails.
Recommended for most stores.
Option 2: Amazon Emails
If Shopify isn't sending notifications (for example, when orders are created by certain third-party apps), you can let Amazon send shipping confirmation emails instead.
You can also choose to receive a copy of these emails in your own inbox.
Enable Amazon Email Notifications
- Open Shipr in your Shopify Admin.
- Go to FBA → Settings.
- Scroll to Emails from Amazon.
- Select:
- Customer – Send shipping emails to customers.
- Seller – Receive a copy of each email.
Good to Know
- Shopify emails are enabled by default and are recommended for most merchants.
- Only enable Amazon emails if Shopify isn't sending shipping notifications for your orders.
- To avoid duplicate notifications, use either Shopify or Amazon as your primary email sender.
