Shipr matches Shopify products with your Amazon FBA inventory using SKU values.
If the Shopify SKU and Amazon FBA SKU are identical, Shipr automatically recognizes the product and fulfills eligible orders through Amazon FBA.
If the SKU values are different, Shipr cannot automatically match the products until a SKU mapping is created.
When Is SKU Mapping Required?
SKU mapping is required when the same product has different SKU names in Shopify and Amazon FBA.
For example:
Shopify SKU | Amazon FBA SKU |
|---|---|
|
|
Without a SKU mapping, Shipr cannot determine that these SKUs represent the same product.
SKU Mapping Options
Shipr provides two methods for linking Shopify SKUs with Amazon FBA SKUs.
Option 1: One-by-One SKU Mapping
Manually map individual Shopify SKUs to their corresponding Amazon FBA SKUs.
This option is ideal if you only have a small number of products to map.

Option 2: Bulk SKU Mapping via CSV
If you have many products with different SKU values, you can upload a CSV file to map multiple SKUs at once.
This is the fastest option for large catalogs.

Benefits of SKU Mapping
- Enables FBA fulfillment even when Shopify and Amazon use different SKU names.
- Ensures products are matched correctly across both platforms.
- Improves fulfillment accuracy.
- Reduces manual order processing.
Tip: If your Shopify and Amazon SKUs already match, no additional SKU mapping is required. Shipr will automatically recognize and fulfill eligible orders using Amazon FBA.
