The Order Count feature lets you display the total number of orders a product has received directly on your Shopify product pages. Showing how many times a product has been purchased creates social proof, builds customer confidence, and encourages more sales.
For example, you can display a badge like:
93 Sold | Only 7 Left
When combined with the Inventory Left dynamic data field, Order Count creates a powerful sense of popularity and urgency that can help increase conversions.
Note: The Order Count dynamic data field and Order Count Display Condition are available for Pro plan and above users only.
How to Enable the Order Count Data Field
Before using the {{OrderCount}} dynamic data field, you need to enable its settings.
Step 1: Open Dynamic Data Fields
Navigate to:
Prime Dashboard → Dynamic Data Fields
Step 2: Configure Order Count
Locate Order Count and click Settings.
Step 3: Select the Lookback Period
Choose the Recent Order Lookback period based on your requirements. You can calculate orders from the last 2 months (maximum).
Click Save.
The app will calculate the total orders for each product within the selected time period.
Automatic Updates
Once enabled:
- The Order Count is automatically updated every 24 hours.
- Newly placed orders are included in the next update.
- You can also manually configure the order count for individual products if required.
You can also add a badge display condition based on product order count available in Pro conditions.
Note:
- The
{{OrderCount}}dynamic data field and Order Count Display Condition are available for Pro plan and above users only. - If your subscription is downgraded to a plan that does not support this feature, badges using Order Count will no longer be displayed until you upgrade again.
