The Variant Inventory dynamic data field lets you display the available inventory for the currently selected product variant directly inside your Badges or Highlight Boxes. This helps create urgency by showing customers exactly how many units remain for the size, color, or style they've selected.

Unlike product-level inventory, the badge automatically updates whenever a customer changes the product variant.

How to Display Variant Inventory

Step 1: Enable Variant-Level Support

Before using the Variant Inventory dynamic data field, you must install the required variant-level integration.

1. Open the Prime Dashboard.
2. Turn the Master Switch OFF.
3. Turn the Master Switch ON again.

This installs the required code that allows badges and highlights to update automatically when customers select different product variants.

Important: This step is required before adding the Variant Inventory dynamic data field.

Step 2: Add the Dynamic Data Field

While creating or editing a Badge or Highlight, insert the following dynamic data field into the badge text:

Important Notes

• The {{PrimebVariantInventory}} dynamic data field is available for Gold plan users only.
• Badges or Highlights using {{PrimebVariantInventory}} are displayed only on Shopify product pages. They are not supported on collection pages, the homepage, search results, or other store pages.
• Before using this feature, you must toggle the Master Switch OFF and then ON to install the required variant-level integration code.
• If your subscription is downgraded from the Gold plan, badges or highlights using Variant Inventory will stop displaying until you upgrade again.
