Shipr lets you choose which Shopify order identifier is sent to Amazon when creating FBA orders.
Available Options
Shopify Order ID (Default)
Uses Shopify's unique internal order ID.
- Automatically generated by Shopify
- Permanent and cannot be changed
- Ensures every order has a unique identifier
Shopify Order Number
Uses the customer-facing order number shown in your Shopify store.
- Easy to recognize and search
- Includes any Shopify order prefixes or suffixes you've configured (for example, EN1001 or 1001-A)
How to Change It
- Open Shipr in your Shopify Admin.
- Go to FBA → Settings.
- Locate Amazon Order ID.
- Select Shopify Order ID or Shopify Order Number.
- Save your changes.
Good to Know
- This setting only affects new FBA orders created after the change.
- Existing Amazon orders will continue using the identifier that was selected when they were created
