How Shipr Works: The Complete Fulfillment Workflow

In short: Shipr acts as the bridge between your Shopify store and your Amazon FBA account. From the moment a customer places an order to the final delivery, Shipr seamlessly syncs and automates the entire fulfillment and tracking process.

The Step-by-Step Process

1. Installation & Setup Install the Shipr app to your Shopify store. From the app dashboard, connect your Amazon Seller account, configure your routing preferences, and activate the 'Ship with FBA' feature to get started.

2. Order Placement Whenever a customer places a new order on your Shopify store, Shipr instantly reads the order data. You will immediately see this order populate inside your Shipr app dashboard.

3. Fulfillment Initiation Based on the incoming order data, Shipr sends a fulfillment request directly to Amazon FBA. Note: You can configure this step to happen completely automatically, or set it to manual if you prefer to review orders before sending them to Amazon.

4. Order Confirmation As soon as Amazon FBA confirms they are processing the shipment, the Shipr app updates the original Shopify order status to 'Fulfilled'. This triggers Shopify to send the standard confirmation email to your customer.

5. Tracking Sync After a few hours, Amazon FBA will make the carrier tracking information available. Shipr automatically pulls this tracking data and attaches it to the Shopify order. Your customer will then receive their tracking notification exactly as configured in your Shopify settings.

6. Status Monitoring You can keep an eye on all active orders! Any changes in a package's shipment status are fully visible and updated directly within your Shipr app dashboard.

7. Final Delivery Once Amazon officially delivers the package to the customer's door, the Shipr app updates the Shopify order status to 'Delivered', and the customer receives their final delivery notification.
