Watchlyst – Price Alerts allows you to hide the Watch Price button for selected products by adding them to the Blacklist.
This feature is useful if you don't want customers to subscribe to price alerts for certain products, such as limited-edition items, exclusive collections, or products that are excluded from promotions.
🚀 How to Blacklist a Product
1️⃣ Open the Watchlyst App
From your Shopify Admin, navigate to:
Apps → Watchlyst – Price Alerts
2️⃣ Go to the Blacklist Settings
Navigate to:
Settings → Blacklist
3️⃣ Add a Product to the Blacklist
Click ➕ Add Product to Blacklist.
4️⃣ Select the Product
Search for and select the product(s) you want to exclude from Watchlyst.
5️⃣ Save Your Changes
Save the blacklist configuration.
The selected product(s) will immediately be added to the blacklist.
✅ What Happens After Blacklisting?
Once a product is added to the blacklist:
- 🚫 The Watch Price button will no longer appear on that product's page.
- 👥 Customers will not be able to subscribe to new price drop alerts for the blacklisted product.
- 🛍️ All other products in your Shopify store will continue to display the Watch Price button as normal.
