Watchlyst – Price Alerts automatically monitors your Shopify product prices and notifies subscribed customers when their target price is reached.
By default, the app checks product prices every 4 hours, but you can also trigger a manual price check whenever needed.
⏰ Automatic Price Monitoring
Once you update a product's price in your Shopify Admin, Watchlyst will detect the change during its next scheduled monitoring cycle.
📅 Monitoring Schedule
- 🔄 Product prices are checked every 4 hours (6 times per day).
- 📧 When a product reaches or falls below a customer's target price, the app automatically sends a price drop email notification.
⏱️ Notification Time
After reducing a product's price, customers can expect to receive their price drop notification:
- ⚡ As quickly as 2 minutes, or
- ⏳ Within 4 hours, depending on when the next monitoring cycle runs.
🚀 Run a Manual Price Check
If you don't want to wait for the next scheduled monitoring cycle, you can manually trigger a price check at any time.
How to Run Manual Monitoring
- Open Shopify Admin.
- Navigate to Apps → Watchlyst – Price Alerts.
- On the dashboard, change the Monitor Settings to Manual.
- Click 🔄 Monitor Now.
Watchlyst will immediately:
- 🔍 Scan your product prices.
- 💷 Check all active price alerts.
- 📧 Send price drop notifications to eligible subscribers in real time.
